Just got this message as well.

I got the same exact call today. I tried to call  back it says  the preson is on the phone an starts beeping.  I know it's a scam , its ridiculous.  How they get by with this.  This is  a very helpful site ty all  im  glad to know I wasn't alone . An furious of the nerve of these ppl.  

My eleven year daughter just received this same call on her cell phone, and came running to me frantic! I heard the voicemail message that stated I will be arrested by the police. When I called back I did not get an answer just several rings then a beep. I really wish they,whoever it may be to STOP!

Please tell me you didn't actually send them money?! It's a scam!! You can't be arrested for a debt! Don't give them anything!!

They're scammers/extortionists working out of India.   Might consider a call blocker.

Report them here:  otal scam coming out of India.  Ignore them.   There's no way to stop the calls from being initiated.  Call blocker is your best bet.
