Recieved this call also and I hung up on them.... Sounded professional, but I don't talk telemarketing over the phone... Thank you for all posting about this number, so that others do not feel alone ..... I wasn't certain that it was a telemarketer, I would assume that it could possibly be a scam artist or something... similiar... I really do not know... I am going by what others posted here, especially the remarks of the ugliest.... that someone posted was said.. that is ridiculous.... !!!!!!!!!!!!

Called on Sunday afternoon, very faint recording about lowering my credit card interest rate.(I get a lot of these). Then hung up. These are robo calls, which you can kick your number out by hitting # several times rapidly. When a valid number does show up, I google them, get a name and address of the company, then file a complaint with the FTC and the AG of the state where the calls originate from.

Just got a call from this number offering to have my credit card interest rates. I have no credits cards. It gave an option to press 9 to speak to a live person. I pressed 9 and told them I have no credits cards and that am registered on the do not call list. He told me they are working with the government, so apparently it doesn't apply to them? I repeated we have no credit cards and told him to never call my house again. He then told me he would put in a request to have me removed from the calling list and that is not authorized to do it himself, and also it was no gaurantee I would stop recieving the calls. Great. I just tried to report it on the do not call site, but it seems to think the number is invalid and keeps asking me to correct it.

HAS CALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. CALLED AGAIN TODAY BUT DID NOT ANSWER. I DO NOT ANSWER STRANGE NUMBERS OR 1-800 NUMBERS.

I am so sick of getting unsolicited phone calls.  I've had one from 317-000-0000 but have caller i.d. and won't answer.  I had one other unsolicited call today.  Funny thing - being on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" does absolutely no good.  Do they really exist?  Does anyone know?
