We are smarter than them. A least we know what they are up too and although we should not have to put up with their calls at least we know not to answer for this number. Thank You, everybody, for your information :)

Caller identified himself as "Michael" and said that he was in Washington DC and was talking about a grant opportunity. I told him I was not in the market to receive a grant, and he replied with "this is not a marketing call." I told him I understood and that I did not wish to be contacted about a grant because I was not eligible for anything nor in the market and that I would like him to remove me from whatever list I was on. He replied with "how am I supposed to do that?" I said "excuse me? Are you asking me how to remove my phone number from your list? How the f*** would I know how to do that?" And "Michael" got very quiet when he replied, which I perceived as a threat because then he said "what the f*** do you think about that?" I couldn't make out what was said prior to then. I told him "go f*** yourself" and hung up. Probably the wrong thing to say. Hindsight is 20/20.

Repeated calls from this number. They act like they can't hear you until you say hello four times. Very frustrating.

I have had these people call me more than once and I have talked to them more than once. They keep telling me that they're in D.C. and that I'm eligible for grants I don't have to pay back (duh, that's what a grant is.). I asked them if they're in D.C. why does my phone tell me that they're phone number is from Chicago? They claimed it was the routing service. When I asked why it wasn't my current GRADUATE SCHOOL telling me I was eligible for this money, she had no answer. I told her to take my name off her stupid list and never call me again. They keep calling. I'm at my wits end with these idiots.
