A call from this Santa Monica cell phone arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.  This is typical behavior of illegal telemarketers.  Legal telemarketers (if there are any left) wouldn't stoop to these shenanigans.

According to several posters, this is a solar energy scam contractor, cold-calling in search of victims. Probably knows how Solyndra hoodwinked the taxpayers for $500 million and wants a piece of the action.  Sorry, scammer, you're not fooling anyone.

Called regarding a special subsidy to remodel my house or something.  I said I wasn't the homeowner and they hung up

Answered, heard breathing, then they hung up on me. Blocked
