THEY KEEP CALLING ME TOO AND NEVER SAY ANYTHING THEY JUST HANG UP

I found out a way to make them stop calling! Start calling them back and don't stop. Tell them who you are, give them your number, and simply hang up. Repeat this over and over again!

DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. They cannot make  you pay for an old debt. These are usually old credit card debt that was never paid. If you filed bankruptcy on the accounts that they are trying to collect on and they were discharged in bankruptcy court, it is against the law to collect these.. Most of the time these are credit cards from years ago that you defaulted on and never paid. They buy these accounts for pennies on the dollar. Say someone had a Visa 8 years ago for 500.00 and never paid it. It is too late to take you to court and it isn't on your credit report because they drop off after 7 years. If they tell you to pay them 150.00 on this credit card and they will call it even, they made money because they probably paid 50.00 for your account.They can legally do this. The thing is, you don't have to pay them anything. There is nothing they can do except to call you and bother you. Good Luck

I keep getting this number everyday from Receivable asking for Charles Fox.  I keep telling them you have the wrong number.  The Charles Fox is not at this number.  I wish they would stop harrassing me.

Thanks for all the info. My identity was stolen and used to purchase hundreds worth of services from ATT, after I told them what happened they put these guys on me. I have no other debts so this really hurts me and my credit, but I refuse to give them even $1.
