Receivables Performance Management. They are a debt collection outfit that uses multiple call centers around the country to call from. If you have an upaid debt, they might be trying to collect it, even if it is out of the statutory limits in your state. They buy a lot of junk debt for pennies on the dollar and try to collect the full debt value. Just becasue they can't sue to recover, doesn't mean they will quit trying to get you to pay the full debt, even though they only paid pennies on the dollar for it. If you want to settle the debt, do not deal with them. Go back to the original creditor and deal with it there.
If you don't have any upaid debts, then ignore their calls, put them on call block or whatever, but do not waste your time trying to convince them you are not who they want to talk to. You have no obligation to disabuse them of their mistakes. If you do ignore them, you can expect you will begin to get calls from all sorts of different numbers you don't recognize. It will probably still be RPM trying to catch you up in the automatic urge to answer the telephone that everyone has, or to get you to secume to curiosity as to who this stranger is that keeps calling.
