Called my grandparents home this evening asking about Windows computer program. After I asked the caller to stop calling my grandparents home because they have no computer, he then told me he would stop calling them if I gave him my number. Very inappropriate.

Same experience as the previous commenters: two calls, no response after my "Hello", after a few secs a computer generated female voice says "Good bye." Odd because the name that appears on my Caller ID screen is the name of my wife's former neighbors from the suburb where she grew up. It's a fairly unusual name, too.

For the past two week I have received 2 calls at 8 am EST which means it's a lot earlier in Minnesota and another call at 5:30 pm. They never respond to my hello and they leave no message when I don't answer. I have been receiving messages from a man whose accent indicates he is either Indian or Pakistani telling me that a virus attacking my computer has been detected. I have had this happen several times over the past year. I figured it was a scam so I wanted to see what he actually wanted. He asked me to sit at my computer and basically, he wanted me to hand over control of my computer to him. so he could take a look at what was going on. yikes!
