I just got the same call.  I can confirm your information.  I asked for a web site and he said he would look that up and disconnected the call.  They know they are scammy, as reputable companies would not do that.  Talking about "reputable", check out their BBB page:

They have an "F" rating.  They have 96% NEGATIVE consumer reviews out of 69 reviewers. They have 575 COMPLAINTS.  And the best part is BBB notes they have had Government Action in TWO STATES (Montana and Arkansas), as well as a notice of PATTERNS OF COMPLAINTS.

I'd steer well clear on this company.  No wonder the dude didn't want me to look them up online.

The accented male caller claims to be from "Health Enrollment Center." He transfers to an agent at Health Insurance Innovations, 218 E. Bearss Ave., Suite 325, Tampa, FL 33613 – 1625, 855-221-5852. The insurance agent in charge is John Maxwell Rassman.
It takes a long time to get the actual name, Health Insurance Innovations, out of them as they go along with the fiction that the Health Enrollment Center is a nationwide insurance brokerage selling health plans in most states.

I'm seeing more of these people using DBA's so you need to also search the State Ficticious Business Name registrations, too.  For Florida, it's http://dos.sunbiz.org/ficinam.html
