Received a phone call from this number. No message left.

IRS scam. Calling my 90 year old Mom and telling her she is under investigation - scaring her to death. Special place for folks like these.

Mary.......I also got this same call from (215) 664 - 3208 on July 7, 2016!    I am elderly & disabled & it frightened me so much when I found it on my answering machine.   I thought I would wait over the weekend then call the number back.  Glad I decided to check it out here first as I couldn't understand WHY I would be having a Law Suit filed against me when I pay all my bills & have NOT done anything wrong!!!!!   People who are doing this SCAM/FRAUD stuff need to be in JAIL for harassing innocent people!!!!!

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

Also received a message stating that it was the IRS and that a lawsuit had been filed against us.  Most likely the scammer would have asked for some kind of a payment to keep the lawsuit from happening.
