I posted some lights on craigslist only to receive a text saying this...

Hello i am interested in your posted {220 Volt Large Industrial Halogen Lamps - $150} i am presently at work please email me here (williampaul6000@gmail.com)your last asking price and and current condition  i will be waiting for your response via email Thanks ..

After looking up the name Google could only come up with the celebrity William Paul.  Unfortunately I was too stupid and gave my name & address before cluing into the fact that they were a scam.  My family really needed the money from the lights.

My experience didn't involve the number (214) 997-8740, but I too received a phony Craigslist item for sale response from this same email address. Here is his message, in really bad English:  "Hi ... When did you want me to come and you will attend to me ? Because i wish to come to check present condition of it.. Then, What is last price and phone number ?  williampaul6000@gmail.com."   Cheesy phisher/scammer!
