Scammer used this phone number to text the victim and scammed her out of $1,920.  Remember if they ask you for money back IT IS A SCAM, and we, your local law enforcement cannot help if you send the money.

I've been getting text msgs from this number claiming to be a Dr. Szakall doing a payroll dispatch and he needs help with a side job.  How they got my number I don't know.  I called "him" a scam and even called number that is answered by Google msging.

claims to be Consumer Perspectives with Mystery shopping, wants you to wire money...responded to craigslist ads first.  beware

I was selling an item on CL. I first got an email wanting the item, I had more than one. so I replied as to how many, They replied with a request of an address to pick up the item. I replied with the address and again a request as to how many. I then got a reply with instructions to deposit a check that was being mailed to me. I was then to ship the item to an undisclosed address and send the balance of the money to a third party after I took my fees out. The Item I was selling was only $50. The check I received was for $1300. Then today I got a call wanting to know if I got the check? If it sounds to good to be true, well you get the idea. Don't fall for these scams. I didn't and the US Postal Inspector and the Internet fraud control division are investigating,

yep a scammer for sure - I posted on CL and he said he would send me a check and arrange for pickup.  I'm in Texas this is a CA number - so please :)!!!!  I said come and see the chairs and bring cash.  Did not hear back.
