I press '9' to opt out, but they continue to call. I press '1' to speak to a CSR and they hang up when I ask them to take my number off their list.

When you pressed 9 you identified yourself as gullible. Probably correctly so. Expect even more junk calls now. Telecrooks love when people fall for this trick.

I did the same and the guy kept pushing even after I gave him a few choice words.  Done telemarketing before and you are not allowed to talk to customers that way or keep pushing them.  Kept telling me i had  to give him a reason why I didn't want it even after I said I would file harassment charges.Scam is what I say.
