In case anyone is interested in the phone call rather than whether the DNC is a Bush or Obama deal -- yes, it shows up as VERIZON - but it's the same old scam -  "congratulations, you are eligible for an Alert---coupons---etc."

For all those who think this phony medic alert call is not in violation of rules (even ignoring circumvention of DNC) -- robo call is in violation of FTC rules and false caller id is also violation. Don't think pressing anything will work, just will confirm your line is active. Information request for possible identity theft, do not give it to these scum.

Obama's Service???? Just shows how dumb republicans are.  I use my Panasonic cordless phones and am able to block these numbers. They can change the caller ID at will so I have a lot of them blocked.  I can block 30 numbers.  Other Panasonic phones can block 250 numbers.  Well worth it.
