Just got a call today at 1:45pm, and a recording came on, stating it is the IRS with a claim against us, and if we do not respond immediately they will go ahead and charge us. It said we must call 210-888-0979

I was surprised, since we had just sent off an updated amendment to the IRS inquiry they had made, regarding an error.

Got this call today.  A recorded voice said that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I should call back to discuss the case file.  Shouldn't I expect formal mail communication regarding this matter if it's valid?  AFAIK,  I don't owe the IRS money.

I just received a message from this number as well.  A women's electronic voice, telling me the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call immediately.

Recieved recordinging of female voice @ 8 a.m. re lawsuit from irs, they left phone # 210-888-0979 to call back..Did not, Thanks for your  scam alert information..stay vigilent!!

Received a call at 11:13 a.m. on June 17 from a female voice (English as second language) stating I should call the above number to discuss a law suit being filed by IRS. Knew it was a scam and did not return call.
