Just got a call today at 1:45pm, and a recording came on, stating it is the IRS with a claim against us, and if we do not respond immediately they will go ahead and charge us. It said we must call 210-888-0979

I was surprised, since we had just sent off an updated amendment to the IRS inquiry they had made, regarding an error.

Got a partial recorded message on my voice mail.  It said the following:

"Or information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 210-888-0979 I repeat 210-888-0979 thank you."

Did not call the number.  Assuming phishing.

Left a message using an electronic voice concerning a lawsuit and to call back regarding the case. Sounds like a scam.
