What should you do? First of all, know that your callers are nothing but a bunch of low-life, offshore scammers - they can't do zip to you. Secondly, if you have any information about them - company name, names they used and phone number - please DO report them to the FTC - www.ftc.gov, the FBI - www.fbi.gov, and your state's Attorney General - you can find your state AG here - www.naag.org. Also read up on and learn your rights as a consumer - debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you did default on a loan, you are NOT going to be arrested and/or jailed!
Since the caller had your information, you should look into signing up for identity theft protection. Also contact at least one of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion) and your bank(s) and ask them to place fraud alerts on all your accounts.
