My sister received a call from this number today.  Woman with a heavy accent said she was calling to award her $100. from the government and needed her bank account information to direct deposit it because "you deserve it."  When my sister wouldn't cooperate, she tried to get credit card information and changed it to $5,000.  When my sister wouldn't cooperate again, she hung up.

I received the same call too. Woman with a heavy Asian accent immediately offered $5,000 and began asking for bank information. Definately a scam. Be careful!

I got a call from this guy with a heavy accent saying he was with the government and I had an award coming to me in cash.  I shut him down quickly by saying the government does not hand out awards from scam artist and he hung up.  Phone number calling from was 293_112_3336.

Yeah I just got one, but I didn't answer. I looked up the number online and saw everyone its a scam of some kind.

Whoever called, with their thick foreign accent claimed to be calling from the small business administration and have approved me for $8000.11 grant. That would be great but I never gave the small business administration my information, nor have I ever applied.

In the background I could hear the boiler room. Several more voices.

When I told the person on the other end of the line exactly what I thought of him and his attempt to prey on American citizens he began to scream at me, at which point I hung up.
