The caller stated that he was from the tax crimes unit and that I have a warrant out for my arrest. He stated that I am not paying my taxes like I am supposed to.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I called the number and talked to who I called AHKMAAD cause that is what he sounded like. I told him I was reporting the number to the police and that he needed to quit [***] calling me in those exact words. I called him a [***] terrorist scammer as well. I thought I would see if maybe just maybe I would get a somewhat professional response and he proceeded me to call a "[***]" or however it is pronounced in India. Felt good to vent because they had been calling constantly. Hopefully they will leave me alone. I did call my local law enforcement agency and reported the number.

Heavy accent, something about crime. Bad connection. If it hadn't looked connected to the Navy Yard I would have dismissed it right away. But they hang up upon callback.

The person answering claims to be from the IRS. Without asking for our name, he claimed that our taxes were done wrong and/or we hadn't paid them. This is not how the IRS would operate. We will be reporting this to the IRS.
