i never answer the call. i just get a voicemail from them. it is automated. something about an attempt to collect a debt. company says it is called NCO financial i believe. i figure if its that important, they will get someone real to call me.

Yes, it's a bill collector.  Someone left me a message saying call back on an important matter.

Yes it is a bill collector.....one of those that bought old debt for pennies on the dollar.  They are calling me to collect a debt that is not owed and am taking legal action against...  Constar is the company

This is from Constar Financial, LLC. No they are not a scam, just attempting to collect on a debt that is owed that they've purchased from a creditor. They receive money for pennies on the dollar each time someone settles with them. They are scam artists in their own way, they will try to threaten you if you do not pay them on their terms.

I also have been receiving calls from this number and finally called them back. They are debt collecters.
