Thanks for the post. It is to the letter of what happened to my elderly parents. They gave no credit card or banking info but completely lost everything on their computer, drivers and all. It was taken over by remote desktop and they lost everything. I live out of town and told them to immediately go to my sister's house next door and log in to all their accounts and change their passwords. They called their bank to place an alert as well as ebay and paypal.  Just hope they acted soon enough.  Scary!

I LIKE EVERYONE I HAVE BEEN GETTING THIS CALL, I ALSO TRIED CALLING BACK REC THIS MESSAGE CHECK THE NUMBER AND RETRY. JUST LIKE EVERYONE I FEEL THIS IS SCAM. I ASK HIM WHY DIDN T WINDOWS E-MAIL ME . HE HANGS UP

My parents have gotten this phone call many times over the past month or so. My Mother hangs up on them, I kinda played him out a bit, he wanted to walk me through how to fix our computers. I'm sure he did! Scam, someone needs to get ahold of this man, and put his harasssing butt in jail!!

If your with Telstra you can contact Nuisance calls 1800 805 996 - this is a scam, be proactive and block this number ASAP. I told whoever it was that I would be reporting them toThe Australia. Securities Commision, was the only thing that would come to me to say and they quickly hung up.
