Saginaw 989-793-0441 - called for wife who doesn't have credit, so this is not a debt collector.  Sounded like financial services scam, when I told them we were on nocall list and to remove us from call list, they had already hung-up.

Seems like a new number starting to be used.  If our crappy president really wanted to get re-elected he'd outlaw all non-opt-in marketing calls.  Just like internet policies require, if you are a marketer and the email recepient didn't opt-in, you can be blacklisted and email accounts cut-off by the marketing companies isp. Why can't our crappy government leaders do the same thing.

second call today, answered it after checking to tell them to stop calling but caller hung up.  Called the number back and phone company  message is that the number has been disconnected which screams SCAM

So tired of these people calling - I don't ever answer the phone unless I know the caller, if it's someone I really know - they will leave a message, and these guys don't. I miss the feature I used to have back in IL where if the person's name doesn't show up on the caller ID, a message played that said ' please record your name' - we never heard the phone ring unless the person actually said their name.
