The fact that you needed to dial a 1 first doesn't mean anything.  Local calling areas correspond with the prefix (the first three digits of a phone number), not the area code, and many areas within an area code require that the caller dial a 1 first.

This number has called me four times, and I have reported it at donotcall.gov.  It is a prerecorded message (with no opportunity to speak to a live person to ask them to stop calling) asking who you would vote for for Michigan's governor if the election were held today.

Same Here!  I get a call from this number EVERY DAY.  No one is seems to be on the other end and after a few seconds, they hang up.  I called the number back but it didn't even ring.  Please let me know if anyone figures out how to make these calls stop.

robocall left a message, its a political call urging me to vote for a candidate

CID said Michigan Call. Called at 1:56 PM and again at 1:58. I don't answer any call anymore unless I know who it is. Sick of all the robo calls and scammers. Pretty sure this one is more political crapola.

A call from this number identified themselves as something like Hardworking Taxpayers of America.  Although supposedly not endorsed by any party they were slamming the democratic candidate, Mary Kerwin.  I suspect Howerlyk supporters are behind this.  I wish we could stop political calls.
