They called me this morning. Said they were from India but it was a Michigan number. It's a computer scam where they inform you that they found viruses and spyware on your PC. They then show you your "event viewer" which shows error messages. All PC's have error messages. If your PC is running ok then these can be ignored. The guy then gives you to someone else who tells you to connect to the internet and type in an address. Through more steps they gain access to your PC. These guys and girls speak with foreign accents and are difficult to understand and are very rude. I had to mess with them a bit by having them spell everything out and repeating things before I told them I knew they were scumsucking scammers. They then cursed at me and hung up. Almost forgot...they said they were from "Windows."
