Another innocent catching hate here on 800notes as well as elsehwere.  Obviously poor "Tim Thomas" got too playful with one of those scam callers out of India, and so they punish him by just putting his name & number on subsequent rounds of calls into the USA.  You could be next.

No one's fooled but the few lit-tle minds who STILL haven't caught on that the so-called "caller-ID" info is always -- always -- spoofed on these scam calls.  But that's all it takes: I see one of them has already posted the innocent's home address above, and the Google-car image of his house will be appearing here right on schedule.

If you get a call about your computer sending errors back to Microsoft or something, just tell'em you don't have a computer.  That usually gets a humble "Oh, OK", and end of call.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Do NOT follow any instructions given by these idiots. They attempt to convince you that there is a problem with your computer or your network and instruct you to go through a series of steps to allow them to remotely install malicious software on your computer to extort money. Please for the love of humanity do not fall for this trap. use common sense.  The "internet" would never call you about a virus and neither would some random "tech support" company that you do not do business with.

Another call from these scum- bags.

989-607-5889 called my house.  My mom answered and the lady (caller ID shows Tim Thomas) asked to speak to me.  My mom told the lady I was at work and asked if she could take a message; the woman hung up on her.  I called the number on caller ID and the message says the call could not be completed as dialed or the number had been disconnected.  This is a SCAM!!!

I have received so many calls from this number harassing me about warning signals coming from my computer. Tim Thomas on caller ID but it's spoofed, heavy accent and very pushy. Would not give me his name or a number to call the so called 'windows help desk' he claimed to be from. I said noone from Windows calls people and I told him to stop calling me. Don't fall for the scams to get into your computer.
