Telemarketer / Texas Fraternal Order of Police....Caveat:  A very small percentage of the money they solicit you for ever reaches the charity.  Many of these charities are not charities at all either but scams, so do beware.

Checking their most recently posted IRS Form 990 (2012), they collected almost $634,000 in donations, but nearly $491,000 went to "professional fundraisers" -- ergo only $0.22 cents of every dollar contributed goes to the Order.

IMO, find a better way to support your local sheriff.
