They knew my name which is unsettling. Definitely a scam- told me he was calling from police officer association and police have "dangerous and sometime gangster job". I told him to lose my number. I come from a family of police officers that's not how that works.

Person called, didnt leave a message. I called back and they were looking to donations for CT police association. The number is based on the north shore of Boston. Doesn't seem kosher.

They called me today and said the same police junk. Definitely didn't sound professional. I lied and said I wasn't me and they said they'll call back later. And they did. From another number close to those one. And I ignored it.
