IRS scam - this time with closer to an English accent instead of the usual Middle Eastern accent.

Same as Erik reported. Caller left a message on my answering machine (I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize or that do not provide a Caller ID).  I have previously received this same call. Caller claims that I am the subject of an IRS legal action. Of course, the IRS does not contact a subject of legal action by phone. The IRS has not contacted me by letter (nor a knock on my door). I have no idea what these scam callers intend to accomplish.

Mine was an English accent.  Name Kevin Mason.  Threatened if I don't call to avoid legal action.  Naming several levels of court.

Same msg - they don,t say IRS  but say Treasury Dept and threaten legal action. Accent  sounds like person from India.
