Just got a call from them a few minutes ago.  I use a VOIP service as my landline, it was my actual landline years ago, I've had the number 15 years or more.  But I use my cell for all of my business so I have the ringer turned off on the voip phone as anyone who has legitimate business with me calls my cell.  So all it gets are robo calls which I report or ignore depending on how I feel at the moment.  Calling these fools back never works, never has.  What I don't get is why they think this business model works, how do you get people to do business with you when you lie to them, bother them and are listed in places like this?  I don't get how they stay in business because they sure aren't making any money this way or friends either.

I got a phone call from this company today. They are a debt consolidation service. They asked me if I had inquired about debt consolidation online and I hadn't, so I asked them to remove my phone number from their list.

This number has called a couple times... They call and say nothing. If my voicemail picks up they do not leave a message....

I foolishly filled out an online form about reducing debt  (which I was led to by an email from lowermybills.com in an ad on one of their pages.)  Since then I have been receiving relentless calls every morning .  Once someone answered and I said, "Is this a sales call?  He said, hesitantly, No, It's Brian from so and so Financial Services. I said I don't take sales calls, and hung up.  Then there were 2 calls immediately thereafter.  I picked up the second call and said, "Please don't call here" and hung up.

Legally, they can pester you if you have expressed interest online.  Bottom line, don't fill out ANY online forms;; it's an excuse for them to call you, and they legally can do so - sucks, doesn't it?

They called again this morning and when the answering machine picked up, they left no message.  I called *69 and it was 9787220098.  I see on this blog that they are not BBB accredited.  I will tell them I am not interested next time and to take my name off of their list.  Hope it works.
