Just got a call from these people.  The first clue was a caller ID of "No Name" - not a great way to inspire confidence!  The next clue was the person who answered:  a computer-generated voice named Amanda.  She explained my home had been chosen to receive free solar panels.  She said she could connect me to a representative who could explain all the details, and asked whether I was interested.  I replied "NO".  I was then transferred to a representative anyway (clue 3, by the way).  He explained they could install the solar panels for free thanks to a program offered by the US government.  He said he would like to ask me some questions to make sure my home was qualified, but I said I wasn't interested.  Asked why I wasn't interested, I said that when I'm ready for solar panels I will take the initiative and investigate the options.  I then hung up.
