Have been calling several times a day for over a month. They are trying to solicit payment history information for our customer to build their "payment history" database.

They make it seem like an urgent matter with a case number asking us to resolve this important matter for our customer. The number they leave to call back just rings with no answer. 866-658-3140

I called the 973-929-3290 number and told them what happened with the other number, that we do not give out that kind of information about our customers, and to please stop calling. They pretend not to know anything about it then transfer me back to the unanswered 866 number. I did get put through to someone's voice mail after calling the 973 number back after they put me through to the unanswered 866 number. I again asked them to stop calling, that we do not give out that information, and that we are seriously annoyed at the interruptions and wasted time and resources. They called again after that in the afternoon. Complaint filed with FTC and will never do business with D&B or its affiliates again.

Also got several calls from 973-929-3290 at our company phone line.  Caller ID says "Dun & Bradstreet".  Didn't pick up the first few calls and when I answered the last one, the caller requested an update of the company information.  I refused to provide any info saying that our company has no business with them. The caller was persistent, though, saying that if I don't do that the company information would not reach "potential clients".  I said that's all right, thank you and hung up.  I suspect this is just phishing our company info.

A lady first spoke with a family member of mine, said they were conducting a survey and requested my personal information and information on my business.

Later the same day, I received two voicemails left by the same person consecutively, with the same message, couldn't catch her name or company name because she was speaking so fast. Said she was doing a business report of (company name) and wanted to document transactions in my business information report because a 'potential client' had requested it.

Didn't return call and likely won't pick up the next time I see this number (973-929-3290) as well.

Received a call this morning from Dunn and Bradstreet. They were phishing for information about my firm, which of course I did not give out. I started asking questions about why they need this personal information, and then they hung up. Sounds scammy to me!

973-929-3290 ...called twice and left messages regarding my business information and how it needed to be updated. Not calling back or talking to them. NEVER give out info over the phone to ANYONE. Ayone I do business with knows my data. These people are scammers. BEWARE
