Call claiming to be First Bank fraud protection, don't have any first bank accounts.

I recieved a letter in mail about my acct having unauthorized uses so I called my cu and they do not have anything in their system for the case number I gave them. This is a scam!

Scam, thru and thru.  Received a letter from a fraud alert company.  Letter is from Phoenix AZ, phone number is for Newark NJ, post mark is from St. Louis MO.  Call collect, it says.  They also ask you to call their toll-free (877-253-8964).  If you cross-reference that number, you'll find a lot of fraud alerts and a few people claiming it's legit.  Those are shills,working for the scam company.  It's all fraud.  If you receive one of these letters, take it to your bank and verify it.  Don't call the numbers provided in the letter.
