I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I answered and there was silence on the other end. So, I hung up and put the number into Google. I found this list of other's experiences with this number.

They called my cell Phone...  Said " This is John from..."  That was all i could make out. Very thick accent.. robotic voice. Probably a robo call disguised as a real person

Called my cell phone.  Caller ID states Dallas, TX.  Didn't know the number, didn't answer.  No voicemail.

Both I and my assistant got calls from these scum, 2 hours apart on our cel phones (which were also registered on the do not call list) claiming that they're a travel company and we had signed up for a sweepstakes with them. Nope, losers. Banned.

The call came in as unknown, but my caller ID recorded the number. I said hello, and heard a VERY DISTANT VOICE ( like a bad overseas connection) . The call then disconnected. I turned right around and looked up the number and called it back- Dallas- - Didn't SOUND like Dallas. Amazingly. On the call back number, (972) 994-6758 - DISCONNECTED - within minutes. Will alert my carrier.
