Numerous calls

Calling about a thermal credit card machine that's mine free and that was delivered but returned.

I've received 7 phone calls today in the space of three hours from this company - all from different phone numbers and all recorded messages about obtaining a credit card machine for my new business.  I did register online for a sales tax permit about ten days ago so now I'll have these calls to look forward to every day.  I guess the State of Texas Comptrollers Office's records are public.  I already get about 5 - 10 nuisance calls from telemarketers daily to deal with.  I'm going to cancel my landline service and take my chances with just a cellphone because I cannot stand to deal with this type of harassment.

There is no Do Not Call list for businesses. It doesn't cover you, unfortunately. The federal Do Not Call list is only to protect consumers. I hate that fact too.
