I looked at the caller ID and said there is no way I'm picking up this bogus call.  LOL

This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1108 hours.  Because fully 99% of the calls I get on my landline are scam artists, instead of answering it, I checked here.  When I saw it was the usual credit card scam artists (aka criminals), I hit the button on my call blocker that will automatically disconnect future calls from the spoofed number.  Of course, they'll go ahead and spoof a new number before long but I'll block that too.  I wish these idiots would be torn to pieces by wild dingoes.

5/26/2015. Starting at about 10:30 AM, have been getting repeated calls from this number. No voice, but a beeping sound, possibly a fax machine attempting to establish contact.(fax "handshake").
I called the number and got a recording giving me the options of either speaking to "one of our representatives" (Press 1) or having my number added to their Do Not Call list. Of course, I pressed "2".
Let's see if this works...

Robo call for credit card. Called my cell. I blocked it...

Just let this one go to voicemail. It was half a recorded message about lowering interest rates.  SPAM and a SCAM !!
