I got a call saying it was from a Chris but I hung up. The area code is from Texas but it said washington state?

It is from a correctional facility.  Some guys just dial random numbers so they can talk to anyone that will listen.  They need outside conversation.

Yep. It's a collect calling service for inmates of washington state

I received a call from this number asking for a collect call. Told them I don't accept collect calls and I didn't know the person who was calling. The name was said so low I am not shure what the callers name was.

Is this used ONLY by the state of Washington?
