The call came from a local area code but I think that part was spoofed. The female caller had an Indian accent, said she wanted to alert me to benefits about something I couldn't understand. I thought it was health care and I informed her I had insurance. She didn't really care what I had to say, and kept repeating her canned message and went on about getting my number to have someone call me in a few days about burial needs. I informed the caller I would reach out to a known funeral director to set up my own pre-burial needs and that I do not accept anything from a cold call.
