Just got a call from this number and they were trying to sell Life Alert systems, (so they said). I also got a recorded call from this number last week regarding financial aide for college (which I have already graduated).

I just received a call from this number.  They guy said he was getting back with me regarding my social security benefits.  I said that I am not disabled and I didn't apply for any benefits.  He said wait, just a moment, and he came back on saying he wanted to help me with my chronic pain.  I said I didn't have any except for him, and for him NOT to call back.  He is blocked now...

I want to correct the first part.  He said he was calling about mu social security DISABILITY BENEFITS.

there is scam when they ask can you hear me & you say yes they can charge things to you because they have your voice saying yes. check your credit cards . it was on national news about it

Received a call on my cell from  975-474-9197, there was a pause, then asked "Can you hear me okay?"  At that point, I hung up.  Called back from my landline and received a recording "Congratulations, you have won... blah blah blah."  Hung up again.  Will block.
