Just had a call from this number twice, didn't answer the second time as it was obviously some sort of scam. When challenged they were very evasive and wouldn't answer my questions. Only identified themselves as Windows to start with then said they were a computer "fixing" company! Would love to know where they get the numbers from?????

i receive the same scam about the computer microsoft bull, called at 7:30am, told me i needed to go on my computer to fix the problem.............new brunswick

Scam artist saying he works for Microsoft tech support, calling from (972) 453-9831 in Dallas, Texas, he says my computer is spreading my personal info over the internet. He called twice before from a different number based in Denver Colorado, (303) 442-9287 (Buff's Restaurant). Guy has a thick middle-eastern accent. Always calls in the morning, today it was 8:50 am.

I keep receiving calls from this number.

I received a call Saturday - November 19th. On answering it took a few seconds for a response so I hung up as this is typical of telemarketers. Curious, I * 69'd and got 972-453-9831 and further went on the net and found this website. I have a friend locally that recently received a call from scammers wanting to fix her computer. She gave them access via email and they took over her computer. She has been afraid to use it since.

Where do they get our phone numbers? We are located in southern BC, Canada.
