Keeps calling my business line.  I say hello, they say hello, and then they hang up.  Happened a couple of times.  Finally called them back, and they are yet another Health Insurance broker calling businesses.  If I had a need, I would call you.  When I called back, they do something which (to me, at least) just screams scam - their recorded message talks about their do not call list.  However, in this case, instead of pressing '9', you have to go to their web site and enter it.  However, even though their web site doesn't appear to have a phone number on it, try calling 806-780-5756 and tell them you'd like to be on their DNC.

The message states that they are "http://telephonemarketingservice.com/"  (TMS) and while they say the represent "several insurance brokers", all they are is a lead generation service.  From their price list, they sell your information to insurance brokers for up to $19/lead.  So if you play along with them, and get a call back from an insurance agency, you've cost them $19.  And if you've just been pulling their chain, they will be unhappy with TMS for providing a bad lead.  Rinse, wring, repeat.

Finally called back again.  Claimed to be representing Greg Hammond, which is an insurance broker in North Texas.  Wasn't looking for a health insurance quote, and I have no idea who he is.  Doing a little Google-fu, I wasn't able to really find out anything about him, except that he apparently voted early last year (could be a different Greg, though).  If they call back, perhaps I will agree to talk to him... about helping out his social media campaign.

Reviewing my notes, this isn't the first or even second time they called.  They previously called and asked for the "Owner" (which always alerts suspicions), and refused to say what the call was about, as it was a "Personal Matter".  In my opinion, that's intentional deception in order to bypass the GateKeeper.  Sorry, Zuul is not easily fooled.

Same people, this time trying to sell leads to a Dan Elliott.  Maybe I should have let Dan pay $19 for the privilege of telling him his services aren't needed?  But they really wanted an owner, to they said they will call back.
