I received a message on a business phone that this was Daniel Steele, gave phone number and said it was time sensitive and needed a return call- was supposedly going to court today....I actually called the number back, woman answered and when I asked for Daniel Steele, she said she would get him for me, waited about 3-4 minutes ( I wanted to stay on the line as long as necessary since they had bothered me, I would make sure they heard from me)  and came back and said that it was a mistake and that numerous numbers had been called....I made her repeat that the call received from them was incorrect....

Have had numerous phone calls from this number identifying himself in a prerecorded message as Daniel Steele, claiming he is an investigator with a warrant for a court appearance. I called the number back and a woman answered and said that she had the number I called from listed as a number for a reference for a man I had never heard of. The interesting part of that is our outgoing numbers are different from our incoming numbers. It wasn't possible for anyone to have called in on the number that would have showed up on caller ID. These people need to be in jail.

I just received that same call.  His name is Daniel Steel and he says the nature of his business is to ascertain my attorney's name and fax number as I have you listed as the primary subject in question in a case that was downloaded in the county today.  As soon as you receive this message, please give me a return call.  It goes without saying that this is time sensitive.  Never called the number back.  Never lived out of Pennsylvania, and sure as heck never been to Texas, and he never addressed me by name either.
