Left a message saying I need to take care of a tax issue before I get arrested. I better call right away so I can give them my social security number, credit card, name, address, and mother's maiden name.

"We have received a legal petition filed against you in federal claims court regarding a tax in Florida...take care it before you get arrested." They didn't get so far as to request SS # etc. Yeah, right. Not returning that call. How did they even get my landline number?

They had my name and address and he was calling from the US Treasury Department that my federal tax filing from 2011 was wrong and that every year after that it has been wrong and I owe them money and they are sending an officer to arrest me, I laughed at him and hung up. Caller had an Indian accent. Sad that some people may believe this scam and give information...
