I got the same thing: "I want to rent your place for 1 week. Two adults no pets. Email me at mattw240@live.com with the available dates."
I responded "What dates are you looking for?" because occasionally potential guests DO text me.
The response I received: "Thanks for the message. Configure your number's SMS URL to change this message. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & Data rates may apply."
SOB baits you with what appears to be a rental inquiry which is just OPTING YOU INTO A DATABASE! Grrrrr….
