got a call fom 971-373-2982 offering to refinance my house -- when I called the number back, and asked who they were, they told me they had many companies using this number, asked me to hold, and then hung up.
Have filed a complaint with FCC (Form 1088B) -- here's some other info that may be helpful:

"People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office and also file with:

If enough people keep complaining then maybe something will get done."

I received a call on 8/11/12 from the number 971-373-2982, (not the first time) I hit 1, to speak, with a customer service rep, to have my number removed from their list, telling her that my phone number was on the no call list.  The woman on the phone got real nasty and ask what no call list, I replied the government no call list, she asked if I paid to get on the list, I said that it was free, she replied that if I didn't pay to get on the list that it didn't mean jacks____.  We got into a heated argument, and she replied using my first name and stated that she was going to kill me, that she knew where I lived stating the address and then stated that she would also kill my wife using her first name.  There was all kind of laughter in the background.  The woman I spooked with sounded like a black person.  This company appears to be buying information from credit card companies or somewhere.  I have never given them any information about myself, my wife or our address; however they had all of this information.  After I hung up the telephone, I received nine (9), not available calls.

These people are not legal telemarketers therefore they do not care if you're on the DNC list. This needs to be on every news channel in America so people know not to give them their money.
