My ad was on c.l. also. Sounds like a scam.

Got a text saying they wanted to buy my suv and use a paypal account.  I checked the email they used frankowen17@gmail.com  it came up as a paypal scam.

I am getting text messages from 971-270-0553 asking about my vehicle ad on CL.  He writes at 2am and then just wrote me (3pm) saying his name was Frank and wants to know exactly where the vehicle is located and do I have a paypal account.  Didn't tell him my location and said I will only accept cash...no response.

I have been receiving the same thing from Frank.  This guy texts me at 2:34am every morning.  I told him to text me a normal hour and he just did it again anyway.  So, have had enough of it this morning, I told him to [***] off.  My exact words actually.  He JUST sent another text saying that he wants to wire me the money for my truck.  I think I am going to let him wire me the money and then not follow through with the rest of the transaction.
