What kind of scam is this & how did they get my first name & cell #?

I got the same thing but from 224-232-8389.  "Hello xxxxxxx! This is Jenny.  Please add my yah00 so we can chat a bit, its: jamalhaylie"  So pissed they had my first name!

I just got this text message this morning (Christmas Day for pete's sake) for 845-614-8153:
'Hi Jennifer! This is Jen.  Please add me on Y@h! msgr so we can talk a bit, its: "evolcarol"'
I'm really not digging that they have my first name and my mobile number.
