OK, it probably won't work from your business phone. But, from home phones (like from my home phone). . . . .Since they don't think I'm worth the time of a real person, what I like to do is feed them what that feed me....... automated voices, information..... from somebody/something other than a live person. When I answer and recognize a robo-caller, (which I'll admit is rather rare) I'll punch a bunch of #'s, 0's, and/or 1's. Then, I'll set the phone receiver near my radio (which is generally tuned to a Christian broadcast station; or, if my wife's set the radio, to something like Rush Limbaugh or another conservative talk-show host, and walk away. A couple minutes later, I'll come back and simply hang up the phone. Hopefully, since the caller's computer is too stupid to recognize that I'm not really here, it's also stupid enough to not hang up, because it 'heard a response from me'; and therefore, their computer will carry on a conversation, asking questions of my radio, getting and recording 'my' replies, using a couple minutes of their memory-space to 'build a lead to get back to me'...... I'd love to see the faces of the solicitors when they review these 'replies' from me!
