I'm not sure who is behind these calls. I've had THREE from this number in less than two hours to my cell phone. I don't answer numbers I don't know, but this is getting very annoying. Attempting to block the number now.

called it back and it was a machine saying something about a sweepstakes and asking what kind of credit card you have...some kind of scam im guessing

Same as the above comments. Promise to enter me in a $1 million sweepstakes, plus gold watch, yadda, yadda, if I pay for magazine subscriptions. They targeted me because I recently entered the Publisher's Clearing House $7000 per week sweepstakes.

SCAM!

This is WAY too funny.  Have been getting calls (which I've blocked) from this number for weeks.  Today I decided to call it back and just see what it was about.  A woman answered "hello" and I asked if this was 972-256-5635.  She said yes; I told her I'd been getting strange calls from this number and wanted to know what it was about. She started a 'speel' then about how I'd been selected to enter a sweepstakes because I used my VISA, MC or whatever card.  Told her I didn't have a charge card . . . paid for everything in cash.  Then she said, 'oh, it must be your debit card' and I told her I didn't have one of those either.  Could tell she was getting frustrated (bc that's not the way her script was - LOL)  She just finally hung up on me.

I received mulitlple calls from this number and it's a different voice leaving a voicemail each time.  One of them stuttered as if to sound like a "real person" calling to talk to me.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but their voicemails are kinda funny.  How do we block the number?  Calling your phone company?
