because the DNC doesn't work on scammers who aren't in the USA to begin with, which these parasites actually are. They are not calling from Oregon; they are using a spoofed phone number to APPEAR like it's in the USA, but it isn't. Most are from India, Pakistan and such (I have over 156 phone numbers they use so far and have actually spoken to a few of their scammer employees). they'll never stop calling, don't care about our laws, and generally, since they are thieves, don't care about you, either. Best bet; either put a special ring tone on these numbers, or get a call blocker.

This jerk has called me  15 times today as if I'm suddenly going to change my mind and accept a loan from some [***] in India

advance fee loans are illegal anyway and thats usually how these go, pay a fee, and you magically never get the loan either..

I just received a phone call from this number telling me that they can lower the interest rates on my payday loans. I don't have any payday loans and told them this and to quit calling my number. My number is a cell number. How can they get the cell numbers like this???

It was listed on caller id as Pay Processing.  I thought connected to PayPal so answered. "Chris Harris" asked me if I still had my pay day loan he could help. Never had any kind of pay day loan.  How could they call when I am no call list?
