SSI, a research group making independent calls.

I never answer calls I don't know anymore due to so many scams now a days. I got a call from 971 245-7164 my caller ID said it was from SSI. When I looked up the number I found a post that said the caller said they were with ODOT and asked a bunch of questions.

GRRRR! These people called me again! Today saying they was from Target point consulting.My caller ID said it was SSI. As soon as she said something,(keeping in mind I felt it was gonna be a scam)I told her they was full of s--- and to never call here again, I have a feeling they will.

This number has called me 3 times now. The caller ID said it was SSI so I answered it (Normally I don't answer calls I don't know) The man said they was conducting a survey, As soon as he said that I told him I was not interested and hung up. Today at 7:30 pm I got another call, I decided I would take the call because I was so fast to hang up the last time,Well I answered it and said hello several times,No one said anything, I got upset with the caller and said well F-U don't call me again and hung up, 20 minutes later at 7:50pm  they called again,I picked up the phone and said I'm reporting your number and hung up.I'm so sick and tired of all these calls more than 95% are telemarketers,scams and so fourth,I have considered discontecting my phone,The problem is my lifeline is conected to my phone so I don't know what to do :(

There are those lifeline services that do not require a landline. Call your current provider and see if they offer that type of service. If not, then you may need to change providers.
