 Text from Oregon in regards to and in web. Always a different number  and requesting info on item when that info is already in the ad. Then they say they're interested and would send a check and when that check is cashed,  their shipper will pick it up. When I asked for their name so they can get into our secured community, they end   text.clearly a scam.

Texted to inquire about a Craigslist ad about a scrap car. Offered to send a cashier's check(?!! ) for a car, sight unseen. Nobody does that - scam. I tried calling to confirm - conveniently, no answer.

sent a check for a wood stove in uncle Henry add.told him waiting for check to clear. wants me to send money to his shipper so they can arrange pick up, no names of him and shipping place. but the check came from bank of america, Georgia.
